WHEN IS THE DAY OF ARAFAH 2022?
Arafah Day marks the time when Islam was fulfilled and sanctioned as a way of life for all Muslims, the ninth day of Dhul-Hijjah in the Islamic calendar – July 9 of this year in the Gregorian calendar.
HISTORY OF DAY OF ARAFAH
The day of Arafat is known to Muslims as a very holy and virtuous day. On this day the Prophet Muhammad gave his farewell speech on Mount Arafah to many Muslims with whom he completed the Hajj towards the end of his life. When Prophet Muhammad was standing on the plain of Arafat, verse 5: 3 of the Qur’an was revealed to him. hajj mubarak greetings
Another name for Arafah Day is ‘Freedom from Fire’ Arafah means ‘Know’. Although fasting is recommended for those who do not make the pilgrimage, most Muslims fast on this day because it is a day known for the renunciation of sins. The day commemorates the culmination of Islam and divine revelation.
Islam teaches Muslims to view Arafah Day as a day of gratitude, so Eid is celebrated the next day. This is the day of infinite forgiveness with the opportunity of great reward. Hajj pilgrims do not have to fast on this day. It follows the Sunnah of the Prophet because he himself did not fast on this day because he was on a pilgrimage.
Today, it is possible to find 1.5 million Muslims heading to the desert of Mecca to pray and pray to God. They can spend hours in the mountains, repenting and praying just as the Prophet Muhammad did. The whole day is usually spent in prayer, devotion, and worship, prayer. Hajj Mubarak Wishes.
DAY OF ARAFAH TRADITIONS
Annual Hajj is obligatory for all Muslims. Hajj is the fifth pillar of Islam and the holiest time of the year in Islam. There are seven rituals and traditions of pilgrimage that are followed. The House of God – the Holy Kaaba, is circumnavigated about seven times. Afterward, the Muslims spend a day praying on Mount Arafat, then spend the night in Muzdalifah. A ritual of throwing stones symbolizing ‘throwing the devil’s stone’ is performed, then the distance between Al-Safa and Al-Mawra is covered seven times. Finally, the farewell circumambulation is done counterclockwise. The rituals of Hajj are much broader than this, but these steps are fundamental. hajj mubarak greetings

The history of Waqf Arafat is intertwined with the history of Islam. In short, it was Prophet Muhammad who delivered his final sermon from Mount Arafat. The day is one of the most important days in Islam. The history of Islam begins with the birth of Muhammad. Before his time, the entire Middle East followed polytheistic beliefs and ancient Semitic religions.
Everything changed for the world when Muhammad received his first revelation on Mount Diamond. From there he received the word ‘Allah’ from the angel Gabriel. It was on this day that he began to receive revelation, which continued for the next 22 years. The Islamic calendar begins when Muhammad adopts the Hijra. ‘Hijra’ refers to the migration from Mecca to Medina. The next year, in 629 AD, when he made his first pilgrimage to Mecca, one battle after another was witnessed. The Muslims soon outnumbered the other rulers of the time. In 630 AD, the Quraish, a group of groups controlling the city of Mecca, realized the growing power of the Muslims. They handed over control of Mecca to the Muslims.
Two years after the conquest of Mecca, Muhammad made his first and last Hajj journey. It was during this pilgrimage that Prophet Muhammad visited Mount Arafat and delivered his last sermon. It is a day of infinite forgiveness. Devotees spend the day in prayer and fasting. Hajj Mubarak Wishes.
