NATIONAL CASH BACK DAY – First Thursday in November

National Cash Back Day is a day to celebrate being able to get cashback from your purchases. In the past, it has been celebrated on November 4th, but in 2020 it will take place on October 22nd. Why? Well, the US switch from standard time back to daylight savings time in March 2020 pushed National Cash Back Day up by one week so that it would always fall on a Saturday and be available for all of us (and not just those who work Monday through Friday). This year we’re celebrating National Cash Back Day on October 22nd!

History Of National Cash Back Day

You can thank RetailMeNot for National Cash Back Day, which is a day where shoppers get cashback from hundreds of retailers and help them complete their holiday lists. Founded in 2019 by an online coupon site that’s been around since 2007 with over 100 million users across America alone!

It’s a great way to get rid of all your holiday shopping guilt, and save money at the same time!

November Cash Back Day 2018 History: RetailMeNot started in 2019 with only 100 merchants offering cashback on purchases. By 2020 there were over 20,000 cashback offers for National Cash Back Day which is incredible growth in just one short year!

In 2020, National Cash Back Day was on Saturday, November 15th, but in 2021 it will be held again on the first Saturday of November. This means you can celebrate National Cash Back Day this year with a nice dinner out and then come home to shop online from your couch while watching Netflix or Hulu – whichever streaming service works for you.

That means you don’t even have to leave the comfort of your home, which is amazing!

If you’re a busy individual that hates going out and dealing with crowds then this is a great day for you. Just make sure if cashback isn’t an option on something you can afford to pay full price – there’s no point in buying gifts just to get cashback if you can’t afford it.

We’re planning on shopping for Christmas presents, but also looking forward to Black Friday sales which are only a few weeks away!

Celebration Ideas & Activities

With so many cashback offers available, you can get everything on your holiday list for free!

Some of the most popular gifts to give include:

Electronics – TVs, computers, and tablets are all great items with significant savings. You could even buy a Nintendo Switch or Xbox One X if they’re on your shopping list.

Food – Everyone loves a good meal, so why not treat your friends and family to dinner at their favorite restaurant? Make sure you check out Groupon or LivingSocial for great deals on eating out.

Home Decor & Furniture – Cashback offers are available from all major retailers including Walmart, Target, IKEA, and more. Just make sure you’re buying what you need and not just for the sake of getting cash back.

Budgeting Tips For National Cash Back Day!

If you are planning on shopping online during this time, it’s important to set up a budget ahead of time before your browsing begins. It may be tempting to splurge but if you’re not careful, these cashback offers can add up quickly and drain your bank account.

One tip is to only visit the retailers that have a high percentage of cash back or other rewards available – don’t just browse through every website randomly. Another option if you plan on shopping at all during National Cash Back Day would be to set up a separate bank account with your favorite retailers. This way you can’t spend money in other places when it’s not a part of the budgeted cashback amount for National Cash Back Day.

So, are you ready to celebrate? We sure are! Leave any thoughts or questions about this blog post below in the comment section – we’d love to hear from you.
