Kiss a Ginger Day – January 12, 2023 – Redhead Quotes, Jokes

National Kiss A Ginger Day is a day where all redheads are celebrated. It’s held annually on January 12th, and it has become quite popular in recent years. The holiday was first started by the “Kickass GINGERs” Facebook page as an ironic joke about how often people tell them to stop being so spicy or say they should have been born with more pigment. Today, many people celebrate this day for different reasons, but most of them involve kissing ginger!

History Of National Kiss A Ginger Day

Derek Forgie, ginger with an entrepreneurial spirit founded the website Kiss A Ginger Day in 2009. This site celebrates all things redheads and was created as an alternative positive celebration of our uniqueness instead of another day that could often lead to bullying from peers or teachers alike.”

The world of art is full of amazing people, but there’s one group that stands out more than any other. Gingerbread men can be found in every corner and on almost any canvas you look at! The beauty about these works is their diversity–you’ll find gingers from both historic figures like Abraham Lincoln or Steve Jobs, as well as modern artists such Jackson Pollock (if his painting was painted with frosting instead of paint).
