National Muffin Day 2022
National Muffin Day is a holiday that celebrates muffins of all types on February 20th. It’s also known as the day before Valentine’s Day, so it’s a great way to spend some time with your loved one making tasty treats in the kitchen! The history of National Muffin Day dates back to England in 1790 when Samuel Johnson published his weekly column “The Rambler” where he wrote about how English muffins were superior to American versions. He then went on to describe how English women would celebrate this event by throwing their muffs into the air and catching them.
History Of National Muffin Day
Muffin Day is a day to celebrate the humble beginnings of this tradition. The concept all started with Jacob Kaufman, an employee at tech company muffins Inc., who noticed that employees were baking their own coffee cake instead of buying one from outside vendors on his last day working there. He went on to start his own bakery, and later the franchise was bought by a larger company.

Kaufman’s eyes were trained to be averted from homeless and needy people. But when he started delighting in giving muffins away, his sight was opened up to a new way of living
His own admission goes as follows: “I had my priorities backward,” Kaufman says frankly about himself. He adds that this epiphany came after noticing all the good things going on around him-the smiles on kids’ faces while they waited for their treat from Muffin Man; seeing how happy it made others feel just by being there.”This isn’t right! There must be more worth than what meets our senses here each day” His altered perspective led me down some very interesting paths inside me where I discovered an inner-self I never knew existed.
The need for donations and goodwill that goes along with Muffin Day is enormous. There are thousands upon thousands of people living on the streets who need warm delicious muffins, not only from local churches but also other organizations like food banks or shelters where they get sent when nobody believes in their story anymore.

Imagine a world where you can have your favorite bread–from English muffins to Portuguese or American style. This is the kind of convenience we live in today, with many different types available for purchase at just about any grocery store around town!
- They’re easy to make
Muffins are quick bread that doesn’t take long to cook! They’re also called ” muffin tops” because of their characteristic shape.
Muffins have the added advantage over other types of cake in being able to be eaten easily by hand instead of using knives and forks for serving up slices, which can get messy fast when working with larger pieces or layered desserts like layer cakes.
- They’re fun to eat
If you’re looking to find the perfect snack, there is no better way than with these tasty treats. So many different ways to eat them! Some people like their muffins Stump-first while others go straight for the top layer.
